Rachel graduated magna cum laude from The University of Tennessee at Knoxville with a major in Kinesiology and minor in Psychology in 2015. She then graduated from Elon University’s Doctorate of Physical Therapy program in 2018. While at Elon, Rachel gained clinical experience in a variety of settings with both adult and pediatric patients, including outpatient, inpatient, and pediatric home health. She also spent her time volunteering at the North Carolina Therapeutic Riding Center, where she assisted with hippotherapy and therapeutic horseback riding classes, working with kids of all ages and diagnoses. After graduation, she began her career in the outpatient setting before joining the Milestone team. She has experience with various diagnoses like Spina Bifida, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, premature birth, developmental delay, and Autism. She has a passion for working with kiddos of all ages, helping them reach their goals with patient and family-centered care so that they can do the activities they love!
I grew up all over the South, but now call Charlotte home and love living in the South End neighborhood and exploring on the weekends! I also love spending time outside with my Border Collie, Jackson.
