Monica is a registered Occupational Therapist, certified through the National Board of Occupational Therapy and licensed with the North and South Carolina state boards. Monica was born and raised in Northeastern, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Misericordia University with a Bachelor of Health Science, a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy, and a minor in Psychology. Post graduation, Monica relocated to the Charlotte area and pursued her passion of working with children. Monica has completed continuing education in Handwriting Without Tears, kinesiology taping, sensory integration, ocular motor skills, and primitive reflexes. She has experience helping children with a variety of differences including but not limited to: autism spectrum disorder, sensory processing difficulties, feeding aversions, fine motor delays, handwriting, developmental delays, and neurological disorders.
In my free time, I enjoy working out, reading, and spending time with my husband and miniature golden doodle, Renly.
