Lindsay was raised in Naples, Florida. She attended Florida Southern College in Lakeland, FL where she received her bachelors degree in Special Education. After graduating, she moved to New York and received her Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy at Stony Brook University. Since graduating in 2012, Lindsay has worked in a variety of settings including: pediatric and adult hospitals, acute and post acute rehab, NICU, schools, outpatient and home health care. She has experience with sensory integration, Autism, Downs Syndrome, Orthopedic and neurological conditions, prematurity, Cerebral Palsy, visual motor delays, fine motor delays, visual impairments, dyspraxia, and coordination issues. She has further training with Handwriting without Tears, Kinesiotaping, pediatric massage, pediatric yoga, constraint induced movement therapy, and upper extremity robotics. She chose to be an Occupational Therapist to help those in need maximize their independence in a fun and meaningful way.
In her free time, Lindsay enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 kids, staying active, yoga, hiking, and hanging out with friends and family.
