Linda Veldman September 10, 2020

Linda was born and raised in South Africa. She received her Bachelors in Occupational Therapy from the University of Pretoria. She and her husband moved to the USA in 1997.
She started specializing in pediatrics in 2002 with a special interest in Autism, ADHD, and Sensory Processing Disorder. Linda was the founder of the local autism support group in a small community in Kentucky to support parents in that area.

Linda and her family moved to Virginia in 2008 where she had the opportunity to work with a functional neurologist, in addition to outpatient and school settings. She gained experience working with a wide array of neurological conditions ie. stroke, traumatic brain injuries. She was also made aware of the importance of the interaction of the ocular motor, vestibular systems, and the brain.

Linda is certified to be a provider for the Interactive Metronome and Integrated Listening Systems. She has also completed continuing education in Vestibular rehab, sensory processing, etc.

Linda recently moved to the Charlotte area. She is married and has 3 daughters and 3 dogs. She enjoys gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family. She also enjoys traveling back to South Africa once a year.
