Lauren was born and raised in Asheville, NC. She attended South College of Asheville where she graduated cum laude with an Associate of Applied Science degree in 2016 and was named valedictorian of the Physical Therapist Assistant Program (PTA). While attending college she obtained pediatric experience in outpatient, home health, and school setting treating children diagnosed with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, Torticollis, Down Syndrome, Scoliosis and developmental delays. Lauren moved to Charlotte, NC in 2016 and began her PTA career working in an outpatient setting working with adults and children diagnosed with a variety of conditions ranging from orthopedics injuries to cerebral palsy. She enjoys working with children of all ages and loves to incorporate family members to ensure that each child is provided with the tools required to set them up for success for many years to come.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my loved ones and exploring Charlotte with my German Shepherd, Simba. I am also an avid UNC basketball and Carolina Panthers fan, so you will most likely catch me rooting on my teams to victory!
