Grace’s passion for occupational therapy began in high school while volunteering with children and adults with different disabilities. She graduated from Appalachian State University where she received her Bachelors of Science in Psychology and Health Studies. After, she attended East Carolina University where she received her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy. Grace began her career in North Carolina as a school Occupational Therapist for students 4-17 years old. She has also worked in Detroit as an early intervention home based therapist. Grace has had experience working with children with autism, Down syndrome, children born premature, cognitive deficits, cerebral palsy, fine motor delays, developmental delays and other health impairments. Her favorite part about being an occupational therapist is being able to see kids and their families grow into their potential.
Outside of work, Grace loves spending time with her family and friends over good food, traveling, and exploring the city of Charlotte.
