Catherine Ireland earned her Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from Spalding University in her hometown of Louisville, Kentucky and recently moved to the Charlotte area after graduating in 2019. Beginning her career in pediatrics, she has gained experience working with children with Sensory Processing Disorder, Autism, Down Syndrome, genetic disorders, fine and gross motor delays, visual-motor deficits, Cerebral Palsy, and Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder. She is an eager learner and has completed additional continuing education in Rhythmic Movement Training (RMT), Handwriting Without Tears, Reflex Integration, and Feeding Disorders. She has always had an innate passion for working with kids and believes in developing strong therapeutic relationships with the children and their families in order to help facilitate positive outcomes and independence. Catherine strives to provide the highest quality of care by using a client centered and individualized approach—using unique and motivating interventions to address the needs of each child and family with whom she works!
In her free time, Catherine enjoys cooking and trying new recipes, exploring new fitness classes, painting, and spending time outside with her fiancé!
