Brigit Boyce is a registered Occupational Therapist, certified through the National Board of Occupational Therapy and licensed with the North Carolina state board. Brigit attended Appalachian State University and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Family and Consumer Sciences in 2015. She received her Masters in Occupational Therapy degree from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. Brigit’s clinical experience includes working in outpatient pediatrics, assisted living/memory care, long term care, and a community setting with adults and pediatrics while serving the community of Gualan, Guatemala.
Each clinical experience was different allowing Brigit to develop her skills and love for working with the pediatric population. Since starting her career in pediatrics, she has gained experience working with children with Sensory Processing Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Anxiety, genetic disorders, fine and gross motor delays, visual-motor deficits, and feeding difficulties. Brigit enjoys building relationships with clients and family members in order to create client-centered goals to improve functional participation in activities of daily living.
In her free time, Brigit enjoys spending time with her friends and family, cooking/baking, and exploring Charlotte.
