Ashley was born and raised in a small town in Iowa. After completing her Masters in Speech-Language Pathology at St. Ambrose University, she move to Charlotte. Ashley has worked in a variety of settings including private practices, schools and hospitals. She is extremely excited to dive into home health! Ashely has experience working with the deaf population, children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, children who are hard-of-hearing, children with Down Syndrome and children with a variety of genetic disorders. She is trained in Visual Phonics, cued speech and has taken courses in Social Thinking, LAMP and using AAC devices. She has treated children with language disorders, stuttering, children who use AAC devices, late talkers, articulation disorders, apraxia, auditory processing, feeding (ages 3+) and social/pragmatic disorders.
In my spare time I love to hike, sing and hang out with my two dogs.
