Increasing Core Strength for Sitting, Ages 4-6 months

In this video, Erin goes over milestones for sitting between 4-6 months of age. She discusses strategies to increase your child’s core strength with a physioball, sitting on a caregivers’ knees and using a laundry basket to help with sitting. Erin also demonstrates transitioning in and out of sitting and strategies to help with this. Lastly, she addresses the Bumbo Chair debate for “strengthening their core muscles.”

Home Exercise Program: Balance Training

This video covers various balance training exercises that families can do with their kids if they notice they’re falling down a lot and their Physical Therapist wants you to continue with the work into the next session.
